The College of Idaho has a long standing fraternal history spanning over 85 years. Today's C of I Greek Life consists of three national fraternities, three national sororities and one local sorority. Fraternity chapters include: Delta Tau Delta, Kappa Sigma, and Sigma Chi. Women are invited to explore chapters of Gamma Phi Beta, Kappa Alpha Theta, Kappa Kappa Gamma (http://chapters.kappakappagamma.org/zetapi/pages/welcome.php), and Sigma Epsilon on the C of I campus.
The goal of these organizations is to provide a base of peers to grow and develop leadership skills, their academic network and support systems. Activities that these organizations participate in include community service, organizational activities, campus activities and many more. Membership in a fraternity or sorority gives students an opportunity to build life-long friendships and make important connections with prominent alumni.
