The College of Idaho is located thousands of miles away from India, Germany, Zambia and China. But walking across campus, you could easily forget this geographical fact. More than 10 percent of our students are international – one of the highest proportions of any college in the Pacific Northwest – and our international students represent 53 countries.
We believe that a broader understanding of other cultures, customs and peoples is essential for a quality education, challenging stereotypes, and solving the world’s biggest problems.
The Office of Multicultural Affairs supports C of I’s international students in reaching their academic goals. We offer programs and activities, such as our highly active International Student Organization, throughout the year to help ease the transition to the College and make your time here in the U.S. beneficial and enjoyable.
Our office is located on the 2nd floor of the McCain Student Center. It consists of a study room with computer access, a student organization office for campus use, and many comfortable couches and chairs. Students find our office environment inviting and welcoming and we encourage you to come by anytime you have concerns or if you simply want to say "hello" and hang out.
