Study Skills Courses
STS-110 Effective Studying 2.0 cr. Fall, 1.0 cr. Winter
A course designed to challenge students to learn and apply efficient and effective studying techniques. This course will provide numerous success strategies and resources. Topics covered in the course include: transitioning, time management, goal setting, memory, active reading strategies, effective note taking, test taking, problem solving, critical thinking, communication, writing, diversity, relationship and resources. The course meets three hours weekly.
