New website highlighting student experience

The College of Idaho today launched a redesigned website which will better highlight the experiences of its students while also providing easier online navigation for visitors. The home page address is the same as that of the College’s old website:

The more attractive site also will feature more videos, photos and stories showcasing various aspects of the C of I experience, from student research projects to social activities.

"We enjoy an incredibly vibrant community here at The College of Idaho, and our new website tells that story," said Dustin Wunderlich, director of marketing and communications. "Our new site will give visitors a better picture of the opportunities C of I students have to learn from outstanding professors, develop as leaders and develop friendships for life in a supportive community."

Among the highlights of the new site is the College's "Student Experience" blog, featuring posts by four current students on life at the College. The blog can be read at and is linked to the College's admission site.

The new site also makes it easier for prospective students, alumni and other visitors to find the information they are looking for, Wunderlich said, by providing a more intuitive navigational structure and an improved search tool.

"Helping people get to the information they need quickly is a high priority for us, and that will give them more time to view other content on our site, whether it's a video featuring our 2011 Idaho Professor of the Year Robert Dayley or pictures of our international business and political economy students in France for a January term class," Wunderlich said.

Questions and comments about the redesigned website can be emailed to Wunderlich at [email protected].
