Freshman Anniella Kabitso's service project for the Davis Project for Peace got attention across the Boise valley on Monday when it was featured on Boise State Public Radio's daily show, "Idaho Matters."
Kabitso and political economy professor Rob Dayley joined host Gemma Gaudette during Monday's program to talk about the Davis Project for Peace as well as Kabitso's project in her native Burundi that she will complete over the summer. With the support of the Shelby Davis family, Kabitso will lead the construction of a solar-powered study center in a remote area of Burundi in central Africa to help residents continue with their studies which will help them enhance future opportunities.
