C of I to participate in Idaho Gives campaign

The College of Idaho is participating in the second annual Idaho Gives campaign, a statewide crowd funding event on May 1 that celebrates the work of Idaho’s nonprofit organizations.

Gifts to the C of I can be made online now through the end of May 1 via the College’s Idaho Gives referral page at  Supporters can show their support for their favorite Idaho nonprofits and encourage others to participate in Idaho Gives through the social media sharing links on the College’s referral page.

Individual donations will have an even greater impact during Idaho Gives, thanks to a pool of award money totaling $48,000 provided by generous supports.  Awards will be given to nonprofits with the largest number of unique donors in three different categories — small, medium and large nonprofits.

Idaho Gives was launched in 2013 by the Idaho Nonprofit Center as a new avenue for nonprofits to reach donors. In its inaugural year, participating nonprofits raised $578,735 through 9,415 donations from 6,192 individuals directed at 541 causes.
