C of I to host Community Business Forum breakfast

The College of Idaho will host a Community Business Forum breakfast at 8:30 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 10, inside Simplot Dining Hall on the C of I campus in Caldwell. Tickets to the event, sponsored by the C of I Business Advisory Council (BAC), are $20. A portion of the proceeds will support the Enactus student team at C of I. All those who are interested in community business issues and the C of I’s continuing partnership for economic development are welcome to attend.

The 2014 Forum will feature special keynote speaker Marty Holly, the C of I’s athletic director for the past 34 years and the namesake of the new Marty Holly Athletics Center on campus. Marty will discuss the “business playbook” for bringing Yote football back to the College and the community. Dr. Scott Johnson, Director of the C of I business and accounting program, will share updates on the newly reestablished BAC, including the Professional Mentoring Program. Following Marty’s presentation, attendees may stay for an optional one-hour session to connect with students and provide input and feedback on important issues for the BAC.
