It’s always better to give than to receive. And this December, when you give in support of student scholarships, new buildings, athletics and more, The College of Idaho’s Board of Trustees will double your gift. That’s right, every gift up to $250 will be matched, with the total match good for $135,000.
It’s only through the support of our alumni and friends that the C of I has continued to offer excellent educational opportunities to generations of Coyotes. Your gift will help ensure today’s and tomorrow’s students enjoy the same C of I experience you did. And a big “Thank You” to YoteFam members who’ve already donated this year. You help ensure that the C of I stays Idaho’s No. 1 College.
“When you make a gift, it is an investment in the future of our community,” said C of I Boone Fund Director Kylie Reagan ’14. “I wholeheartedly believe in the school, its mission and its students, and I hope you join me in supporting the C of I.”
Giving to The College of Idaho makes it possible for students, such as Natasha Dacic, to receive Environmental Leadership Initiative grants to perform field research in Idaho’s backcountry. This summer, along with C of I Geoscience Professor Jaime Goode, Dacic researched how wildfires play a role in shaping salmon spawning habitat.
“Receiving the ELI grant for my research with Dr. Goode was a tremendous help and opened many doors,” Dacic said. “It allowed me to purchase the necessary equipment and supplies for my summer research and will allow me to travel to multiple research conferences to present my work. Without this funding, these opportunities would not have been possible for me. I am so thankful for it."
If you want your gift to leave a personal mark on the C of I campus, you can have your name etched in brick and mortar in the courtyard of Wolfe Baseball Stadium for a donation of $250.
Take advantage of the opportunity to celebrate a graduate or remember a loved one with a custom engraved brick. Each 4 x 8 brick can be placed at either the Wolfe Field Baseball Stadium Plaza, or in front of the Marty Holly Athletics Center. Also, each brick is eligible for the $250 match by the Board of Trustees to the College’s Boone Fund.
Bricks are limited to 15 characters per line (characters include punctuation and spaces). There are three lines of text available. You can fill out the text for your brick on the online purchasing form. You can also purchase a replica brick and display case.
