  • Former Student Experience Blogger and recent political economy graduate David Losinski ’17 is embarking on a new adventure this summer: learning a new language in Yogyakarta, Indonesia!   • Coyote Athletics Roundup: This year’s MLB Draft became one of the most successful in the history of C of I’s baseball program, with two Yotes being selected for the first time since 1996. Senior pitcher Riley O’Brien became the highest draft pick in the history of the program when he was selected by the Tampa Bay Rays in the 8th round of the MLB First-Year Player Draft. The next day, O’Brien was joined by fellow senior pitcher Zach Draper, who was selected by the defending American League champion Cleveland Indians in the 30th Round. Congratulations to both pitchers!...In addition to helping the women’s track and field team win a fifth straight title at the Cascade Conference Championships, senior Lila Klopfenstein was named to the CoSIDA Academic All-America second-team...The C of I athletic communications office was honored with a pair of Top-3 finishes in the 2017 NAIA-SIDA Publications and Media Contest, including accolades in the best publicity video and best game/season highlight categories.

  • The Whittenberger Planetarium will hold its next public show on July 14, the first of the summer to center around the upcoming Aug. 21 solar eclipse, which will pass in totality above Idaho!
