Enjoy Sand, Surf, and Fun in the Sun at the Albertson College "Fantasy Island" Benefit Auction on April 20

2002. 04. 09.

CALDWELL, ID- Caribbean cuisine, dancing, a cigar and scotch auction expo and a drawing for a vacation in Fiji will highlight the Albertson College Scholarship Benefit Dinner on April 20 at Albertson College.

This year's theme is "Fantasy Island." Auction guests will be treated to a tropical celebration, which will offer guests a chance to wine and dine with friends and bid on a myriad of items. Auction items include a hot air balloon ride, a getaway to the Virgin Islands, ski trips, catered dinners, art, collectibles, vintage wine and more.

The evening will begin at 6 p.m with a silent auction and wine tasting. A live auction, dinner and entertainment will follow.

Last year, 550 guests bid on 400 items and helped raise $103,000 for student scholarships. In the past 15 years, the Scholarship Benefit Dinner has raised more than $1 million.

The event is sponsored by Hewlett-Packard and presented by the Albertson College Office of Special Events. For tickets or more information, contact Darryl-Lynn Biery, Albertson College director of special events, at 459-5686 or via email at dbiery@collegeofidaho.edu.
