Albertson College Receives Awards for Special Projects at Conference

CALDWELL, ID- The Albertson College Office of Marketing and Communication Office and the Office of Conference and Events Services were recognized recently for special project marketing and implementation at the recent annual conference of the Council on the Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) District VIII.
Albertson received a silver medal for its coordination of the 2001 Scholarship Benefit Auction, which is held annually in the spring. Those cited for the award included Darryl-Lynn Biery, director of conference and events services, Amy Stahl, director of marketing and communication, Eric Cardenas, communication specialist, and recent college alumnus Amanda Simon.
The college also received a bronze medal for the marketing campaign for author Tim O'Brien's visit to campus last fall, coordinated by Eric Cardenas.
CASE is an organization for professionals in alumni relations, development and communication. District VIII includes all secondary schools, public and private colleges and universities in Idaho, Montana, Washington, Oregon, Alaska, British Columbia, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Northwest Territories and Alberta.
