Author Richard Shelton will read at The C of I Feb. 12

CALDWELL Arizona author Richard Shelton, who has spent more than 30 years volunteering in Arizona prisons, will be at The College of Idaho on Feb. 12 to do a reading at 7 p.m. in Langroise Auditorium. The reading is free and open to the public.

Shelton's visit is sponsored by The C of I, the Idaho Commission on the Arts and Tumblewords.

Shelton is also a Regents Professor Emeritus of English at the University of Arizona. He has conducted creative writing workshops at the Arizona State Prison in Florence since 1974.
