C of I Planetarium shows for March and April
2008. 03. 04.
CALDWELL Mars continues to shine brightly in the evening sky this spring and will be the topic of shows at the Whittenberger Planetarium at The College of Idaho on March 12 and April 2 at 7:30 p.m.
The two rovers, Spirit and Opportunity, have been studying Mars up for the last four years. They have been joined by orbiting spacecraft as well. Come learn some history of Mars, tips on how to find it in the night sky, and some of the current discoveries being made.
The cost is $4 for adults $2 for children ages 5-18. Reservations are required because space is limited and the shows sell out, so please call JoAnn Bellon at 459-5211 to reserve space.
The planetarium is located in Boone Science Building near Jewett Auditorium on the corner of 20th Ave. and Fillmore St. in Caldwell.
