Idaho Debates 2002 to be Held at Albertson College in Late October

CALDWELL, ID- The campaign trail will pass by Albertson College in late October when Idaho Debates 2002 are broadcast live from the Langroise Center recital hall on the Albertson campus.
The debates will be transmitted statewide and locally on Channel 7 and can be heard on KIDO Radio, 580 AM. It is widely believed these debates have the potential to cumulatively reach 75 percent of Idaho adults and become the most-watch political debates in the history of Idaho.
All debates will begin at 7 p.m., and the schedule is:
Oct. 23 - Superintendent of Public Instruction: Tom Luna-Marilyn Howard
Oct. 25 - Lieutenant Governor: Jim Risch-Bruce Perry
Oct. 28 - U.S. Representative Dist. 1: Butch Otter-Betty Richardson
Oct. 29 - Governor: Dirk Kempthorne-Jerry Brady
Oct. 30 - U.S. Senator: Alan Blinken-Larry Craig
Admission is free, but a ticket will be required for entrance. Tickets can be obtained at the McCain Student Center at Albertson College, The Idaho Statesman or KTVB, Idaho's NewsChannel 7.
