Volunteers Needed for Museum Workday

2006. 03. 24.

CALDWELL (Idaho)- The Orma J. Smith Museum of Natural History at Albertson College of Idaho is looking for a few helping hands for their monthly Museum Volunteer Workday.

The next museum workday will take place on Saturday April 1 from 8:00am to late afternoon at the museum, which is located in the Boone Science Building on the CofI campus. Volunteers will have the opportunity to do a variety of different tasks, including working with specimens, library work, display preparation, construction projects, painting and cleaning, but no experience is necessary. The day also includes a taco lunch for volunteers.

Along with volunteers, the museum is also currently in need of lumber, map cases, and library file boxes for journals.
