The C of I receives INBRE supplement grant

CALDWELL – The College of Idaho has received a National Center for Research Resources (NCRR) supplement grant to the National Institute of Health Idaho INBRE program.
This award, which was funded by federal stimulus money, will provide $146,418 over the next two years to support biomedical-related research in the sciences at The C of I. Part of the funds will be used to hire two new laboratory technicians to support faculty directing undergraduate research at The C of I.
Faculty Carolyn Dadabay, Mark Gunderson, Sara Heggland and John Thurston are INBRE researchers with active research programs involving undergraduates at The College of Idaho.
