2006. 03. 07.
CALDWELL (Idaho)- The effects of the tragedy of 9/11 will be the topic of the day as Matt Bowles, National Field Organizer for the American Civil Liberties Union, comes to give a lecture at Albertson College of Idaho.
The lecture entitled, 'Post 9/11 Repression: The Effect on Students,' will take place on March 7 at 11:30am in room 128 in Boone Hall on the Albertson College of Idaho campus. The event is free and open to the public.
As a member of the ACLU'S Keep America Safe and Free campaign team, Bowles has spent the last three years mobilizing civil liberties activists nationwide to defend their local communities from government abuse and to pressure Congress to roll back repressive post 9/11 policies.
The lecture is made possible by the ACLU of Idaho.
