The C of I Planetarium examines Winter Solstice

CALDWELL – The Whittenberger Planetarium will be recognizing the Winter Solstice as part of the ongoing International Year of Astronomy series on Tuesday, December 8. Come learn the meaning of the solstices and equinoxes, the events that bring them about, and an overview of the constellations, planets and moon that can be seen in the winter sky.

The show will begin at 7:30 p.m. The cost is $2 for children ages 5-18 and $4 for adults. Reservations are required. Please make them by calling JoAnn Bellon at 459-5211.

The planetarium is located in Boone Science Building near Jewett Auditorium on the corner of 20th Ave. and Fillmore on The College of Idaho campus in Caldwell.
