Planetarium Show is January 12
2009. 12. 18.
CALDWELL – The Whittenberger Planetarium on the College of Idaho campus is starting off the new year by looking at the moon. We will look at images spanning the last 50 years – from the first photograph ever taken of the back side of the moon through the October impacts on the moon's south pole. We will also look at the phases of the moon, find the planets in January's night sky, and navigate the winter constellations.
The show will begin at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, January 12. The cost is $2.00 for children ages 5-18 and $4.00 for adults. Reservations are required as space is limited. Please make them by calling JoAnn Bellon at 459-5211. The planetarium is located in Boone Science Building near Jewett Auditorium on the corner of 20th Ave. and Fillmore St. in Caldwell.
