ACLU Official to Speak at Albertson College

ACALDWELL (Idaho) – Greg Nojeim, the Associate Director and Chief Legislative Counsel of the American Civil Liberties Union's Washington National Office, will give the Caldwell community the inside scoop on the Patriot Act as he presents a lecture at Albertson College of Idaho.
Nojeim will give a lecture entitled, "Listening In: Surveillance of Americans in the War on Terrorism" on Tuesday March 7 at 11:30 am in Boone Hall room 127 on the Albertson College of Idaho campus. The lecture is free and the public is invited to attend.
Nojeim has spearheaded ACLU efforts to curtail secret surveillance and to have Congress adjust the Patriot Act so that Americans can be both safe and free. In his lecture, Nojeim will give his audience the news behind the headlines about the push to amend the Patriot Act and change the amount of surveillance done by the National Security Agency.
