Albertson College of Idaho Choir Program Takes Act on the Road

CALDWELL (Idaho) – The Albertson College of Idaho choir program is taking their act on the road.
During ACI's spring break the CofI Chorale and Chamber Singers will be doing a weeklong performance tour that will take them across the West. The two groups are under the direction of Andy Percifield, and a total of 50 students will be participating in the tour.
Their first stop is Portland, Oregon where they will do two high school performances, observe the rehearsal of Portland State University Chambers Singers, and they will also perform for an CofI Senior Night, a reception for high school seniors hosted by the CofI Admission and Alumni/Parent Relations Departments.
Next, they will visit sunny California and give public concerts in Redding and San Francisco. They will perform a free public concert at the Redding Stake Center at 7:30pm on Wednesday, April 12. They will also give a free public concert at the Conservatory of Flowers in San Francisco at 1:30pm on Thursday, April 13.
The final stop on the tour will be Reno, Nevada.
The groups will be performing music from a variety of different composers, from Giovanni Pierluigi de Palestrina, to Johannes Brahms, to modern composers such as Larry Farrow and Moses Hogan.
