2006. 05. 12.
CALDWELL (Idaho) – From the impact of sleep deprivation to creating a new musical genre inspired by literature, student research will be in the spotlight during the first annual Albertson College of Idaho Student Research Conference.
Students of all ages are invited to explore nearly fifty projects on Saturday, May 20. The conference runs from noon – 5p.m. with a reception following in the Langroise Foyer.
Here are just a few of the topics students explored: the habits of fish in the Australian Coral Reef, the impact of multiculturalism in schools, illegal immigration, the work of Alfred Hitchcock, writing workshops as therapy, human brain dissection, costume design, photography, the use of computers in molecular modeling, and music composition.
Research will be presented through lectures, poster presentations and performances. For more information visit www.collegeofidaho.edu/academics/src/default.asp.
