The C of I Hires Maggie Colwell as Executive Assistant to the President

CALDWELL, ID - The College of Idaho has hired Maggie Colwell as executive assistant to President Marv Henberg. Most recently, Colwell served as special assistant to Caldwell Mayor Garret Nancolas. She brings a strong background in public relations and public affairs to the Office of the President.

As special assistant to Mayor Nancolas, Colwell assisted with policy development, legislative tracking, public and media relations for the mayor, city council, and Caldwell city officials. Previously, Colwell was a policy analyst for the Idaho Association of Counties. She currently serves on the board of directors for the Caldwell Salvation Army, the Caldwell Family YMCA, and the Treasure Valley Air Quality Council.

"Maggie's expertise in public relations and local government combined with her strong administrative skills will make her a tremendous asset to the College," said College of Idaho President Marv Henberg. "She will hit the ground running."

Colwell will begin her new role on March 29.
