Opera Opens; Takes

Love and folly will be the order of the day as the Albertson College of Idaho Music Department presents Mozart's opera, the Marriage of Figaro.
The show runs Thursday, February 9 through Saturday, February 11th at 7:30 pm, with matinee on Sunday, February 12 at 2:30 pm. All performances will be in the Langroise Recital Hall on the Albertson College Campus.
Ticket prices are $10.00 for adults, $7.50 for senior citizens and students, and $5.00 for children under age six. The Box Office opens one hour prior to performances, and tickets can be reserved by calling 459-5426.
The Marriage of Figaro will be sung in English and features a large cast of CofI students including Curtis Crafton , Aaron Buck, Meghaan Jennings, Lindsay Lowe, Matt McDaniel, George Lemmon, Kim Peters, Tiffany Saunders, Lacey Simmerman, Brianne Boesiger, Carl Graumann, Megan Williams, Caitlin Parker, Chris Brooks, Jacob Fulcher, Sari Bower, Amanda Richey, Jeremy Stevenson, Jordan Stringfield, Anna Wilson, Kate Ingelstrom, Emily Rains, and Darla Eaton.
Audiences will be delighted by a fully staged opera, complete with accompaniment by orchestra. The show is directed by CofI Faculty including Andrew Percifield, Music Director; Mari Jo Tynon, Stage Director; and Lighting Design by Michael Hartwell.
