Albertson College Professor Receives Flulbright to Lecture in Egypt

CALDWELL, ID Jim Angresano, professor of politics and economics at Albertson College of Idaho, has received a Fulbright Senior Specialists grant to lecture on economic development and international economics at Cairo University, Egypt, for four weeks this winter.
The Fulbright Senior Specialists program offers two- to six-week grants to leading U.S. academics and professionals to support curricular and faculty development and institutional planning at academic institutions in 140 countries around the world.
Angresano, an expert in economic development and comparative economics, has taught university classes in China and has been invited to teach regularly at the University of Trento in Italy. In 1991 he taught at the University of Varna in Bulgaria on a Fulbright Scholarship. He will leave for Egypt in mid-February.
Angresano received his bachelor's degree from Lehigh University; an M.B.A. from New York University; and a doctorate from the University of Tennessee. He has taught at Albertson College for seven years.
