ACI announces new Executive Director of Development

CALDWELL – Albertson College of Idaho President Bob Hoover announced today that Michael Vandervelden will become the College's new Executive Director of Development.
Vandervelden has been serving as the college's major gift officer for the past year. His new appointment is effective immediately.
"Michael has done outstanding work for Albertson College of Idaho and I am very pleased that he has accepted this position," Hoover said.
As Executive Director of Development, Vandervelden will oversee the college's fundraising and donation offices, which include scholarships, major gifts and other contributions.
"I am looking forward to becoming the Executive Director of Development and continuing my work with Albertson College of Idaho," Vandervelden said. "This is a very special place indeed."
Prior to coming to Albertson College of Idaho, Vandervelden worked as a major gift officer for Yale University and as an investment analyst for Bank of America. He also had an educational consulting business and worked as a program manager at the Lee Pesky Learning Center in Boise.
He has degrees from Carleton College, Northwestern University and Yale School of Management.
