ACI professor offers mini-course April 26

CALDWELL – Albertson College of Idaho (ACI) History Professor Howard Berger and the Faith and Life Institute for Theological Education are offering a mini-course "The Jewish Joy of Time," on Thursday, April 26 from 7 to 9:15 p.m. at CofI in Kathryn Albertson International Center, Room 106.

The course will examine the Jewish fascination with and celebration of time, what it means to "sanctify time," and make time holy. Cost is $10 per person.

The mini-course will also be offered in Boise on Wednesday, April 25 from 7 to 9:15 p.m. at the Cathedral of the Rockies at 11th & Hays. A meal will be served at 6 p.m. There is no cost for the Wednesday session.

Berger, a popular and dynamic professor, is an authority on Jewish history, theology and practice, and regularly teaches courses on Jewish history and the Holocaust at ACI.

The Faith and Life Institute for Theological Education is a cooperative service venture of Albertson College of Idaho and faith communities in the Treasure Valley. It seeks to provide interesting, high quality, adult religious education courses of college/seminary caliber which promote religious understanding and the interaction between faith and life for people of the Treasure Valley.
