Internship Description

The C of I’s Office of Marketing and Communications seeks social media interns who will play a key role developing and carrying out wide range marketing and communications initiatives that enhance the College’s recognition and reputation. This position will work with marketing and communications staff on a number of different areas, including social media outreach on our Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube and Twitter channels. Interns will help develop and execute multiple social media campaigns throughout the term.

The specific projects assigned to an intern will be developed in conjunction with the marketing and communications department, and include opportunities in the following areas: 

  • Writing
  • Social media strategy and management
  • Video production and editing
  • Photography
  • Media relations
  • Graphic design
  • Event planning and promotion
  • Marketing research and strategy
  • Web design

Qualifications
We are looking for high performing students with strong initiative, a creative mindset, an ability to work well independently and in teams, excellent interpersonal skills, and a positive attitude. Availability to attend campus events on nights and weekends is required. Strong candidates are active on social media across multiple platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc.), though not required.

Reports to the Director of Marketing and Communications, Dustin Wunderlich.
