The intercollegiate softball program at The C of I was started in 2002 and has quickly become one of the more respected programs in the Northwest.  The Lady Yotes won their first-ever Cascade Conference title in 2007 - losing in the NAIA Region I title game to Simon Fraser.  The 2008 team made history, winning the NAIA Region I tournament as the No. 4 seed - advancing to the NAIA National Championships for the first time.  A year later, the Lady Yotes won the CCC crown, finishing for a tie atop their pool at the NAIA Championships, losing out on a spot in bracket play due to a tiebreaker.
