Gil is in his third season with the Coyotes...has learned to become a competitive swimmer at The C of I, not competing in meets as a freshman, while making his debut as a sophomore...recorded top times of 28.35 in the 50-free and 1:29.62 in the 100-breast in 2010-11...came to The C of I from the United World College campus in Costa Rica...played basketball and soccer at the prep school...went to high school at the International Secondary Institute..studying art...parents Reinaldo Gil and Zulmher Zambrano.
