A Day in the Life

A question I have been asked a lot lately is “What does a college schedule look like?” College schedules are very complex, so to elaborate on this question I will take you a day into my life.

9-9:30 a.m. -  Breakfast with Friends

9:30-10:10 a.m. -  Review Homework for Modern Latin America

10:20-11:20 a.m. - Modern Latin America Class

11:30 a.m. -1:15 p.m. -  Student Ambassador Hours

1:30-2:10 p.m. Homework Time; Review for French

2:10-3:10 p.m. - French II

A year full of memories

Well here it comes; the end of the year. Students were packing up their rooms and heading home all last week. Cleaning out the dorms is a passage. Just like “striking” a set at the end of a show is to help you put away the memories and help you move on, moving out of the dorms for the summer is a way of reminiscing on the past year and packing up those memories and moving on.

Surviving Spring

This time of year (I discovered by using my awesome freshman observing skills) is dangerous. The evil sun beckons. It beckons each and every one of us to unlock our inner child and lay out in the sun, play frisbee, and climb trees.

It's hard to do anything else but spend the entire day outside. Even though I really wish i could spend an entire day outside, i can't. For many it can be difficult to find the motivation to carry on, especially for seniors who are experiencing symptoms of senioritis at this time.

Idaho Springs

I now realize the title “Idaho Springs” could quite possibly be the name of 8 different towns here in the state of Idaho … but I digress.

Spring is (almost) here!! How do I know? The worms.

Golden Nuggets

I have come to understand the word prioritization this semester. Yes, it is only day three of the term, and yes, I probably should have comprehended this word in its entirety prior to college. Probably even prior to middle school.
