Yotes win CCC Tournament opener over Oregon Tech

The C of I men’s basketball team hosted Oregon Tech in a Cascade Conference Tournament opener Tuesday night inside J.A. Albertson Activities Center. The Yotes came out aggressive as expected, but a few hiccups along the way—including poor free throw shooting and hot Oregon Tech shot making—kept the game close into the final minutes. In the end, the No. 6-ranked Yotes found enough juice to pull out a 71-64 victory and advance to the semifinals.

C of I football team unveils 2015 recruiting class

College of Idaho head football coach Mike Moroski will announce his initial 2015 recruiting class throughout today. As signed Frontier Conference Letter of Intents begin to roll in, YoteAthletics.com will be posting the names as well as a quick profile of each new Yote.

C of I football team set for National Signing Day

The College of Idaho football team is asking all Coyote fans to come out for a National Letter of Intent Day party Wednesday, Feb. 4, to celebrate the 2015 recruiting class.

The event will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at MickeyRay's Barbeque (980 North Milwaukee in Boise –north of the Boise Town Center Mall) – held in conjunction with ESPN Boise's Signing Day extravaganza.

Head coach Mike Moroski and his entire staff will be on hand to talk about his new recruits, along with many of the new, local Coyote recruits.

C of I Yote earns No. 1 seed in CCC Mascot Challenge

The second annual Cascade Conference Mascot Challenge is under way, and The College of Idaho Coyote is off to a strong start after a narrow defeat in last year’s semifinals.

The Yote racked up 223 first-round votes to earn the No. 1 seed in next week’s quarterfinals. The Yote competes on Friday, Jan. 30, for a chance to move on to the semifinals. Be sure to check the C of I Facebook page and the Coyote Athletics Facebook page so you can get your votes in!

A new season of Coyote basketball begins this fall at The College of Idaho, and the C of I basketball coaches want students, fans, season ticket holders and the entire Caldwell community to get to know their teams before the regular season tips off.

For the first time in 37 years, The College of Idaho football team will take the field in front of its home crowd Saturday at Simplot Stadium in Caldwell. The Coyotes, coached by Mike Moroski, host Montana Western in one of the most anticipated games Canyon County has ever seen. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m.

FOREST GROVE, ORE. – The return of College of Idaho football started with a bang and ended with a double-thud—a thrilling field goal block that sealed a wild, 35-34 victory for the Coyotes in their first football game since 1977.

C of I set for Purple and Gold Scrimmage

The College of Idaho football team is set to hold its inaugural Purple and Gold Scrimmage on Monday, Aug. 25 – less than two weeks before the Coyotes return to competition after a 37-year hiatus. The scrimmage, which is free and open to the public, kicks off at 6 p.m. inside the newly renovated Simplot Stadium. Gates open at 4:30 p.m. and there will be a special pregame program beginning at 5:30 p.m.

C of I releases single-game football tickets

The College of Idaho’s first football game in 37 years is just one month away, and tickets remain available to watch the Coyotes’ historic return to the gridiron. The C of I today has opened single-game ticket sales, with adult seats available for just $11 per game.
