After a 27-year hiatus, The College of Idaho track and field program was reestablished in 2005 and over the past seven seasons, the Coyotes have become one of the premier programs in the Northwest.

During that time, three Lady Yotes (Stephanie Helm, Maggie Miller, Hillary Holt) and three Coyotes (David Fluckiger, Tyler Hopper, Greg Montgomery) have been honored as NAIA All-Americans.
