Planetarium: Roving Mars

Curiosity has been roving Mars for a decade and Perseverance for two years.  They have provided answers to some of our questions about Mars and have captured stunning images of the Red Planet.  Mars is in a great location for observing from Earth, too.  Learn how to find Mars in the night sky this month and a few highlights of the work from these rovers. Please join us on Friday, April 7, at 7 p.m. Please arrive 15 minutes early. All shows are live.  

The cost is $3.00 for children ages 4-17 and $6 for adults.  Reservations should be purchased in advance at https://www.collegeofidaho.edu/about/campus-facilities/planetarium. Questions regarding the purchase of tickets should be directed to [email protected] or to Vanessa at 459-5507.  This show is more suited for late elementary grades to adults.

The planetarium is located in Boone Science Building near Jewett Auditorium at the corner of 20th Ave. and Fillmore St. in Caldwell.
