Ramesh is living with a host family in Caldwell over the summer. Without ever leaving the house, she’s able to get up in the morning, get ready, and fulfill her daily internship tasks.
Two years later, that folksong, “Suliko,” is now a published choral arrangement that is being sung in places far from the country of Georgia, a former republic of the Soviet Union near Turkey.
In addition to those workshops, the CUWiP attendees went to sessions covering different fields in academic physics, professional developmental skills, and equality/inclusivity.
“I’m in an ideal place right now where a lot of people would want to trade shoes with me,” Sose said. “I’m very thankful for that and I use it as motivation to keep pushing forward.”
