It was a team that earned Outstanding Delegation honors for the entire event, which included 2,500 students from 200 colleges and universities that came from six continents.
Weighing in on issues ranging from housing to curricular needs to meal plans, students at the College are empowered and encouraged to participate in making the campus a better place.
Senior Tyler Reay captained the College’s team, which included Math major Mbongi Dlamini ’20, and Business majors Ines Arredondo ’20, Jacob Davis ’19, and Chris Waters ’19.
On Friday, Blue Cross of Idaho extended its reach and impact to the whole health of body and mind as it committed to funding two full-tuition Heritage Scholarships at The College of Idaho.
The end result was record-setting: The 570 guests at the Gala contributed $461,000 to The College of Idaho via live and silent auction, with all the funds going toward scholarships.
The trip to the small South American country was educational, encompassing class-credit courses in Biology, Spanish, and Health & Human Performance. The experience, according to those involved, was irreplaceable.
