Various programs are coordinated for the 10-15 percent of students who are Catholic on the C of I campus. Our purpose is to encourage and support students in their Catholic faith as well as to build a bridge for Catholic students into the ecumenical Campus Ministries community.
Students car pool to Mass at the local parish (Our Lady of the Valley) and often share a meal before or after Mass.
Connection to the greater Campus Ministries community is also a major goal. The population and demographics of the college offer a unique opportunity for Catholic students to practice ecumenism and Christian unity—to learn how to do God’s work and God’s will with brothers and sisters of other denominations, to learn how to have fruitful discussions about faith, and to come together with one voice to worship God, all while retaining their Catholic identity.
