Deer Flat Church was one of four institutions whose contributions were recognized with medallions. Ustick Road Church of the Nazarene, International Students, Inc., and Iglesia Damasco also received a Presidential Medallion from the College.
In addition to his presidential role with the ISO, Mahlangu is a Counsel for Diversity and Inclusion representative, a Peer Health Advocate, a member of the Africans, Friends, Relatives and Others (AFRO) club and the Gaming club.
The summer program, called The College of Idaho Scholars Program, just completed its second year. It’s one of multiple undergraduate research opportunities available during the year in scientific fields at the College.
Two campus members were recognized for their exceptional service to the community with a pair of awards this April from the Student Affairs Division, one student and one staff member.
