The College of Idaho added another impressive student to its list of Heritage Scholars earlier this week as Patrick Mark, a senior at Riverstone International School in Boise, committed to attend the College.
The Conference begins with registration at 10:00 on Saturday morning. Presentations begin at 11:30 and will take place in the recital hall inside the Langroise Center for Performing & Fine Arts as well as Boone Hall and Blatchley Hall.
Three College of Idaho students have parlayed a week-long learning experience in New Mexico into presentation and publication opportunities in the field of spectroscopy, as it relates to a class of stars.
This year’s lecture, which takes place at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 16, in the Langroise Center for Performing and Fine Arts on the campus of The College of Idaho, will feature Dr. Bernd Heinrich, Ph.D.
Give Day is a 24-hour event where people have the opportunity to donate back to the College to raise funds for the departments, programs, and maintenance of the school.
It was a team that earned Outstanding Delegation honors for the entire event, which included 2,500 students from 200 colleges and universities that came from six continents.
Weighing in on issues ranging from housing to curricular needs to meal plans, students at the College are empowered and encouraged to participate in making the campus a better place.
The presentation room of the College’s Cruzen-Murray Library last week was filled with those who were still mournful of the recent acts of hate, yet were united in a voice of resilience and a goal of targeting the root causes of injustice.
Senior Tyler Reay captained the College’s team, which included Math major Mbongi Dlamini ’20, and Business majors Ines Arredondo ’20, Jacob Davis ’19, and Chris Waters ’19.
