The long, hot summer is coming to an end on The College of Idaho’s campus. In a matter of days, new students from all over the world will pour into the Morrison Quadrangle, ready to take their first steps as the Class of 2021. But before they get to work in the classroom, the first-year students will enjoy the traditional festivities of Welcome Week.
After years of planning and partnership between both students and the administration, The College of Idaho will begin its new smoke-free policy starting this fall, eliminating tobacco usage completely from its campus.
Rick Williams (Class of '74) recently received the Boy Scouts of America William T. Hornaday Gold Medal for distinguished service to natural resource conservation — an honor only given to 51 adults in the Hornaday Awards’ 103 year history.
