Host an Event

The College of Idaho welcomes both internal and external groups to make use of our unique campus spaces for meetings, events, and conferences. Whether you’re a faculty member planning a campus program or a community partner looking for a beautiful venue, we’re here to help you find the right location and guide you through the reservation process. 

 

The College of Idaho offers a variety of indoor and outdoor spaces available for rent by external organizations, nonprofits, and community groups. From classrooms and performance venues to open-air courtyards, our campus provides a flexible setting for many types of events. Our Available Spaces for Rent

The parlor, which features couches and oversized chairs along with dining table for 8, and a capacity for approximately 25 people reception style, creates a warm and personable location for birthday parties, small social gatherings, and meetings.

Rosenthal Gallery is a distinctive and versatile event space, formerly an art gallery, that blends charm and functionality. Featuring a raised stage and elegant wood floors, the venue offers an inviting atmosphere ideal for medium-sized events, including performances, receptions, and creative events that benefit from a stylish, artistic setting.

Look to the idyllic Centennial Amphitheatre – which can host up to 150 guests – for smaller outdoor events. Some power is available.

The College of Idaho offers classrooms of varying sizes for meetings, conferences, or social gatherings.

The Board Room is a sophisticated space located on the lower level of the Library. Designed for functionality and comfort, the room features dual projection capabilities, a built-in catering counter, and flexible seating configurations. It accommodates up to 80 guests with stadium-style seating, or can be arranged with tables and chairs to suit a variety of meeting or event formats.

Jewett Auditorium, which features newly remodeled restrooms and superb acoustics, is the only indoor Caldwell area venue to seat over 800 guests.

The Chapel is a peaceful place for worship or wedding services.  Holding two pianos and pews for up to 60 people it is perfect for more intimate events.

Langroise Foyer offers an ideal location for formal banquets, receptions, or weddings. Capacity is 152 seated, or 200 reception style.

Morrison Quadrangle may host over 2,000 guests and comes with a built-in stage at the front of Boone Science Hall.  The beautiful trees create ample shade, but there is also plenty of rooms for tents. Some power is available.

Simplot Hendren seats 48 guests and is a great location for smaller group meetings.

Simplot South seats up to 176 guests at round tables five-foot rounds, with room for eight seats.  The space comes standard with a projection screen, lectern, and a small sound system equipped with one microphone and an audio adapter for portable devices. Some setup fees may be incurred.
