The College of Idaho drew my interest for the unique opportunity to double major with three minors while being able to compete on both the soccer and softball teams. When I came on my first visit to the College, I felt so comfortable in the atmosphere on campus. Despite living only 10 minutes away at the time, I felt like the College was its own community full of new experiences.
B.A. in Political Economy and Philosophy with minors in Legal Psychology and Natural Sciences and a Pre-Law specialization.
I have been able to achieve so many goals at The College of Idaho because it is a great liberal arts college. I have been able to take courses related to my major and minors but also do classes like yoga and music that don’t necessarily relate to my major but are interests of mine. My biggest achievement is the fact that I have been able to grow as a leader in many different areas and improve my social-building skills because of CofI.
B.A. in Business Administration with minors in Communication, Legal Psychology and Natural Sciences and a specialization in Pre-Law. May 2024 Graduation Speaker.
I chose CofI because of the genuine nature I experienced from the people when I first visited. I felt as if the faculty wanted me to be here because of who I was and my skill set, and not just to add another number to their roster. Not only was CofI able to provide a close-knit community, which was very important to me, but they were able to provide a small school environment with big world exposure and thinking.
B.A in Music Performance with minors in Creative Writing, Human Performance and Psychology & Health.
I chose The College of Idaho because of its prestigious academics and the opportunity that it provided for me to play football. I am extremely grateful for the scholarship that made this school a possibility for me and my family as it allowed me to be a part of such an amazing place. Scholarships are greatly important as they enable the College to continue to bring in the best future Yotes year after year from, quite literally, all over the world.
B.A in Business Administration and Computer Science and a minor in Spanish.
While at The College of Idaho, I’ve been to London, Brussels, Amsterdam, Edinburgh, Paris, Greece and Turkey. Before I graduate, I’ll also go to Hawaii and study archeology and natural biology. My advice: I don’t see any reason not to come to a school that from the get-go shows that they already invest in me, and I just adore this school.
B.A. in Literature & Creative Writing and Theatre with minors in Classics and Natural Sciences. ASCI Student Body President 2024-2025.
As a college, our “Yote” culture is part of our identity early on in our undergraduate career, building experiences that I take with me for the rest of my life. More specifically, my journey as a member, leader and captain of the Yote football program has provided me with lifelong friendships and the opportunity to pursue my dreams of playing professional football following graduation. B.A. in Business Administration with minors in Spanish and Natural Sciences, a specialization in Finance and a graduate certificate in Sport Administration.
