Family Weekend

Come to campus and join your Yote for Family Weekend!  The fun starts Friday, October 28, with games, a photo booth, and family competitions in the Quad, followed by a variety show later in the evening.  Saturday brings tailgating and C of I football at Simplot Stadium versus Eastern Oregon. Early registration for Family Weekend has closed, but we'd love to have you join us! Those wishing to still get in on the fun can pay $20 per family can be paid at Chaos in the Quad.

Friday, Oct. 28

9 a.m. – 4 p.m.                     Orma J. Smith Museum of Natural History (Boone Hall)

                                                Open to the public

10 a.m. – 5 p.m.                   Rosenthal Gallery of Art (Blatchley Hall)

                                                Open to the public

10 a.m. – 6 p.m.                   College Store Hours (McCain Student Union Center)

4:30 p.m.                               Campus Tour (meet at the clock tower in the center of campus)

                                              Led by Anne Whitwood, Admission Visitation & Events Coordinator

5:30 – 6:30 p.m.                  “Chaos In the Quad” (Morrison Quadrangle)

                                              Music, games, and registration—pick up your t-shirts and goody bags

6:30 p.m.                               Dinner in the Café with your Yote (Simplot Dining Hall)

                                                 Student variety show and “Minute To Win It”-style family games

                                                JAAC parking lot opens at 8 a.m.

                                               Join us at the Alumni and Parents Big Purple Tent for music, food, and games!

                                                Open to the public

12:30 p.m.                             Yote Fan Parade to the Stadium

1 p.m.                                     Football Game: C of I vs. Eastern Oregon (Simplot Stadium)

                                                Tickets sold online or at the door (http://yoteathletics.com), $13 general admission

5:30 – 7 p.m.                        Meet the Greeks (Simplot South)

                                                 Buy dinner in the café and bring it to Simplot South for a presentation of Greek life and influence on campus. 

                                                Presented by Greek Council.

8 p.m.                                     The Bird Stop Coffee House: Halloween Costume Party with Jake Leg Blues Band

*There are no events planned on Sunday as an official part of the schedule, but parents are certainly invited to make individual plans with your Yote to complete the weekend.
