Information Technology is said to be made up of: people, process and technology. I believe that people are the most important. I get the most satisfaction from making a difference in peoples' lives and providing opportunities for people to grow. Technology becomes obsolete and processes need continuous improvement. 

My work in various roles helped inform my interest in privacy, cybersecurity, governance, risk, and compliance.

Prior to joining The College, I worked in industry IT positions at: El Paso Natural Gas, Albertsons, BMC, and Scentsy. In my IT career I worked as: Systems Programmer, Unix System Administrator, IT Operations Manager, IT Support Manager, IT Internal Audit Director, Director Information Security & Disaster Recovery, and Director of Governance Risk and Compliance.
