College of Idaho professor Diane Raptosh has been published in Sign & Breath, a new anthology that explores the essence of poetry and the power of voice. The collection brings together a wide range of contemporary artists across mediums and genres, including two National Book Award winners, an Ohio Governor’s Award winner, NEA Fellowship recipients, and the Poets Laureate of Virginia, Idaho, and Vermont.
Raptosh’s contribution includes both a poem and an interview that reflect her ongoing commitment to literary exploration and the transformative capacity of language. The anthology, released on August 26, 2025, delves into questions such as: What is poetry? What defines voice?
