The College of Idaho recently hosted the 2024 Idaho Policy Forum: Deconstructing the Election. The forum featured state senators, journalists and other state officials discussing topics from polarization to election data analysis. Click the link to watch the recorded livestream.

The College of Idaho is thrilled to celebrate the incredible achievements of our students and faculty who showcased their groundbreaking research at the 2024 Murdock College Science Research Conference, held November 8-9. With this year’s inspiring theme, "Saving the Planet through Scientific Research," our students presented innovative ideas that are paving the way for a more sustainable future. Foreman and Hess teamed with Laport, Brad Stokes from the University of Idaho, the groundskeeping staff at the College, and student volunteers to plant several plants, like sagebrush, around Boone Hall in June and hope to plant even more native plants later this summer.

For most of the graduates, it was their first time walking across the stage to accept a diploma at a commencement ceremony.

The Lecture Series and the Chair of Judaic Studies are both unique to the College thanks to the Neilsen Foundation. The College of Idaho is the only institute of higher learning in the Intermountain West to have an endowed chair for Judaic Studies.

The pride was evident throughout the event as the boisterous crowd celebrated each of the College’s graduates.

Megan Brandel, the artistic director for Open Arms, is a Caldwell native who attended the College for two years before finishing her dance degree in Colorado. Now, she’s bringing her group to The College of Idaho for two shows titled “Cultivate”: a sensory-friendly kids’ show on Thursday and a full show for the public on Friday.

Little read the proclamation on video, which was then shown to an enthusiastic crowd that night assembled at the J.A. Albertson Activities Center to welcome the team back to Caldwell.

She was already interested in The College of Idaho and the PEAK curriculum, but when she saw online photos of a robust Outdoor Program (OP), she knew she had found the footing for her next step.
