The College of Idaho utilizes placement information to ensure students are in academic schedules that match their degree preparation. Please complete your best independent work. These tools are meant to be taken individually and without the use of external guidance. There are several ways to complete your placement.
- Complete an ACT or SAT and send a score report to: [email protected]
- The College of Idaho Math and Physical Sciences Department offers an online math assessment to discover which math course is best for a student. Your advisor or the registrar's office will arrange the details of the assessment. Once that is done, you can take the exam following these instructions.
- The Department of Spanish requires all students with previous language study, as well as native and heritage speakers, to complete an online computer-adaptive language placement test to determine the appropriate course for beginning language study.
