Intramural sports at the College of Idaho give students a chance to be competitive and have a little fun. If you don’t want to play on an intercollegiate team or if you want to give a new sport a try, intramurals offers a wide variety of fun activities. Get a group of friends, a club or dorm to pull together a team for flag football, basketball, volleyball or softball, to name a few. Faculty and staff are also invited to participate.
Each semester a variety of events are offered based on the interests of students, staff and faculty. The activities are selected to meet both recreational needs and competitive interests. Most importantly, the IM staff attempts to schedule events that are fun. All activities are either team or individual activities for men and women.
There are many ways in which you can become involved in recreational activities at The College of Idaho other than competing on a team. Each residence hall, living organization, or club usually has an intramural representative who is responsible for gathering recreational activities information, and organizing teams or participants for specific events. If you are looking for a specific activity, but do not see it being offered, come by JA200 to promote your activity.
