Workshops and Conferences

The Harold M. Tucker Herbarium (CIC) of The College of Idaho and the Snake River Plain Herbarium (SRP) of Boise State University collaborate to offer conferences and workshops.

Our summer workshops, which occur semi-regularly, provide botanists and plant enthusiasts with insight into difficult species. Each expert-led workshop covers a particular plant family or genus that is both interesting and difficult to identify. Recent summer workshop topics have included:

2012—Astragalus workshop (Michael Mancuso)

2011—Brassicaceae workshop (Ihsan Al-Shebaz)

2008—Juncus workshop (Peter Zika)

2007—Third Conference of Northwest Herbaria

2003—Eriogonum workshop (Jim Reveal)
