Mia Maldonado
  • Mia Maldonado, who will graduate from the College later this month, has been selected for the first-ever Voces Internship of Idaho with the Idaho Capital Sun. The internship "strives to bring in new and needed voices to Idaho's news landscape by opening doors for young Latino Idahoans to get professional paid experience to kick start their careers."   • Karina Llanes is also making news as an intern - literally. Llanes has been interning for Boise State Public Radio and helped to produce this story about artist Eddie Melendrez. (KSBX Radio)
  • Junior Rob Griffitts-Harper has a big internship looming. As part of the prestigious Harry S. Truman Scholarship, Rob will go to Washington, D.C., to complete an internship after graduation next spring. Fewer than 60 students nation-wide earned this scholarship. (Idaho Press)
Sead Muradbegovic
  • Sead Muradbegovic, seen here graduating from the College in 2019, is nearing graduation from law school at Gonzaga University in Spokane, Washington. While he completes his studies, he's already working for the Spokane County Public Defender's Office, where he has found fulfillment serving the people in Spokane after arriving in the United States as an immigrant when his family was displaced by Yugoslav wars.
